Toney comes to Monster Barbell Co. via a quite unique path, Toney is one of the tallest bodybuilders on the Pro Circuit and being 6’2” creates some unique challenges in bodybuilding, one of Toney’s sticking points has been his forearms. After working with the Forearm Bar and getting some impressive results Toney gave us a call and wanted to know how he could become part of this project. Well one thing led to another and Just like Victor Kiam, who liked the Remington shaver so much he bought the company Toney is now part owner of Monster Barbell Co.
As to date there have been no major innovations in free-weight training
most new ideas have been machine related. Toney Freeman and Monster Barbell believe that is about to change.
We believe
that although machines play an important role in muscle development, weight training should consist primarily of free weights.
When
using machines the repetition you perform is on a two dimensional plane.
The human body however is designed on a three
dimensional plane and consequently free weights engage more muscle, muscle fibers and tie in muscles.
From our innovative Forearm
Bar to two new up and coming products, The AMP Bar (Articulated Multi Purpose Barbell) and the Monster EZ Curl Bar we believe we can
help invigorate Free-Weight Training
